The members of the investment team represent extensive knowledge in microfinance, investments and the African market.

Stefan was appointed CEO in April 2011. Prior to that he was the company’s senior Investment Manager. Stefan has more than 20 years of experience in business, including working in the private equity area for 10 years. He has worked with investments in challenging business environments in countries like Russia and the Baltic states. Prior to that he worked for PWC where he held various management position and was elected partner 2000.

Blaise has an extensive experience and an outstanding track record in the private equity area in Africa. Prior to joining Nordic Microcap, he spent several years at Mecene and CININVEST, a Central African Private Equity Fund based in Cameroon. During the early stages of his career, he worked in the Microfinance Industry with ACEP Cameroon. Blaise also worked as internal auditor for one of the leading Microfinance institutions in Cameroon.

Lars-Olof founded Nordic Microcap Investment in 2006 and was the company’s CEO from the start until April 2011. He is now the working chairman of the board. Lars-Olof has 25 years of experience with Microfinance. He initiated Africap Sweden AB 2001, the predecessor of Nordic Microcap Investment and has served on several boards in Microfinance, including Africap. Lars-Olof lived in Africa for 8 years.
